The camera is situated above our bus station at the historic town of Yarmouth, with a view across the harbour and the Solent beyond. The harbour accommodates local and visiting yachts, Wightlink’s Lymington to Yarmouth car ferry service and the home of the RNLI lifeboat. The town also boasts a grade II listed timber pier. Built in 1876, it is reputed to be the country’s longest timber pier still open to the general public.

Yarmouth is a convenient starting point from which to plan your visit to the Island. Catch route 7 heading west towards Freshwater, Totland, Needles Park, Freshwater Bay and Brighstone, or head east to Newport on route 7 or route 11 to connect with our other routes.

Our Island Breezer Needles tour leaves from Yarmouth every 30 minutes. The open top tour is one of the most spectacular bus rides in the UK, with stunning countryside scenes and breathtaking views across the western end of the Solent from the Needles Battery.

Please note, the Needles Breezer has finished for 2008 and restarts on 14 March 2009.
